The presentation of awards to the winners in the Ingleby Barwick garden competition has taken place at Peter Barratt's Garden Centre, Yarm road, Eaglescliffe.
The garden competition for residents was organised by Ingleby Barwick Parish council.
Judging of the competition was carried out by Mr Richard Arkley from Peter Barratt's Garden centre, who was accompanied by parish councillors Tom Bowman and Patrick Mallon.
The awards were presented by coun Bowman and Wayne Cameron representing Peter Barratt's.
The results of the three categories were as follows: front garden first prize to Mrs Linda Bradley, second prize to Mr and Mrs Gillings and in third place Christine Tucker; back garden first prize to Mr S McNally with Mr and Mrs Renshaw in second place and Jackie Foster winning third prize; tubs and hanging baskets first place to Bill and Cynthia Walker, in second place Mr and Mrs Clyburn and third prize to Brian Booth.
Each of the winners will receive a trophy from the parish council and a £50 voucher donated by Peter Barratts Garden Centre.
Second prize is a £25 and third prize is a £10 voucher also donated by the garden centre.
As well as the awards they received certificates which included a photograph of their winning garden.
