ARTISTS will be transforming their local community hall into a riot of colour this weekend.
The Vale of Pickering Art Club are holding their annual exhibition in the town's Memorial Hall from Saturday to September 1.
More than 70 of the club's members will be exhibiting works at the show and at least 300 oil paintings, water-colours and sketches will be on display.
Entry to the exhibition is free and many of the paintings on display will also be available for sale.
The results of a recent watercolour challenge between 24 club members at the Helmsley Walled Garden will also be on show.
The exhibition runs from 10am to 5pm each day.
