More than 1,500 copies of the regional economic strategy review have been sent out on request by One NorthEast.
Meanwhile, a website set up to publicise the review has registered nearly 4,000 hits, with more than 1,000 documents downloaded from it.
Six key objectives were identified as needing to be put in place to ensure that the North-East will be a vibrant, self reliant and outward looking region by 2010.
The document is available on the agency's website at www.onenortheast.co.uk while a leaflet is available at libraries and public places.
The public can call One NorthEast on 0191-204 2362 for a copy of the draft, fax on 0191- 204 2223 or text on 07802 917011.
