A LEADING conservationist has praised developers of an industrial estate for helping to make the area look attractive.
The society regularly comments on planning applications and has often been critical about development proposals in the town.
But chairman of Harrogate Civic Society, Lilian Mina, Mina said she was "very impressed" by the quality of industrial buildings being erected on the Hornbeam Park estate next to the town's Hornbeam Park railway station, off Hookstone Road.
"It is important to acknowledge the value of good, modern design in the right location," she said, in her latest chairman's report.
