Darlington RA made it 12 goals in two games when they hit Ferryhill Athletic with a 7-1 defeat on Wednesday night when they scored five times during the second period.
After putting five goals past Annfield Plain in the second half of their game on Saturday, the goals again rained in from Graham Dodsworth (3), Michael Carter (2), Neil Jackson and Darren Coates. Liam Parsons scored Ferryhill's consolation goal.
Stokesley SC just edged Redcar Town with a last-minute winner after the Seasiders had recovered from a two-goals deficit. Jonathan Newton put Stokesley in front and when Stephen Pennock hit a second goal, Redcar faced an uphill battle.
David Tait reduced the arrears heading home a free kick and when Jonathan Kirk levelled from the penalty spot in the 87th minute, a draw was on the cards but in the last minute, Craig Johnson outjumped the goalkeeper to notch the winner.
Boldon CA sent Cleadon SC crashing to a 6-0 defeat, David Stephenson (2), Craig Rolf (2), Craig Botcherby and Stephen Handy all struck and on a night when goals were in plentiful supply, North Shields scored four times at Harton and Westoe.
Eddie Miller again hit form and bagged a brace and late goals from Andrew Elliott and Barry Gibson gave the Robins a 2-1 victory. Bruce Foster and David Hopper were the Harton and Westoe marksmen.
An only goal by Ian Johnson on 20 minutes was sufficient for New Marske in their home game with Ryhope CW and Annfield Plain coasted to a 3-0 success when they entertained Jarrow. Stephen McGough (2) and Richard Murray were on target.
Paul Terrell made a good start with Birtley Town and his two goals and one from Paul Wilson earned his side a 3-1 victory at Stanley United whose response came courtesy of an own goal from Kevin Murphy.
Barnard Castle Glaxo, who had lost their first three games by single goal margins, picked up their first point in a 2-2 draw with Whitehaven. The home side led at the halfway stage through Danny Harrison and an own goal but Whitehaven back when Craig Robson and Stephen Stoddart struck.
Wolviston made the long journey to Windscale worthwhile when they recovered from a 2-0 half-time deficit to win 3-2 with goals from Steel (2) and Edwards.
