Ian Myers was in super form for Brandon hitting one six and seven boundaries in an undefeated 73 as Brandon totalled 134 for two in their home game with Esh Winning.
In response the visitors reached 108 for six and most of the runs came from Andrew Wilson, who had one six and seven boundaries in 30, Danielle Hazell who struck three fours in an unbeaten 23 and Paul Shaw with 21.
He also found the boundary line on three occasions. David Hind was the most successful bowler in the Brandon attack and in five overs he conceded just 22 runs taking a couple of wickets.
Ushaw Moor hosted Evenwood and won by eight wickets when Mark Dawson was clearly man of the match.
After capturing three wickets for 15 runs restricting Evenwood to 80 for four which included a top scoring 20 by Forster, Dawson finished undefeated on 32 leading Ushaw Moor to a match winning 81 for two. Paul Facey added 23 to the Ushaw Moor total.
