WHILE most people try to cling on to summer, Spennymoor Leisure Centre is preparing for Christmas.
Show promotion company Encore has put together eight shows to be held in the venue's banqueting suite.
The season opens on Friday, December 13, with a party night featuring Latin American group Viva Latino and supporting act Kukuyu. The following night tribute bands Beetles UK and The Three Bees will perform classics from the Beatles and the Bee Gees.
