THE success of a Darlington firm specialising in supplying 4x4 pick-up trucks and accessories has led it to new, larger premises.
Links Motors, of Morton Park Way, has moved round the corner to a 5,000sq ft office and warehouse base four times the size of its previous home.
A mezzanine floor will be built over the next few months providing a further 2,000sq ft.
The company has also bought a plot of land in Lingfield Way and plans to invest £m building new offices, a warehouse and a showroom for vehicles and accessories over the next three years.
The family-run business, which now employs 11 people, was established in 1978 and has built up its annual turnover to £10m.
It is the exclusive UK supplier of SnugTop pick-up tops and BedRug bedliners, supplying large dealer networks throughout England, Scotland and Ireland.
Managing director Nick Todd said: "We are delighted with the new offices and feel that the business is now in the right position to move onwards and upwards."
