FIVE youngsters are en route to successful careers thanks to the Jennings Ford motor group.
Daniel Clarke, John Higgins, Alan Whitwell, Ryan Gray and David Kemp recently joined the group's branch in Stockton through the Masters Apprenticeship programme.
The programme, based on the Advanced Modern Apprenticeship, is operated by ReMIT, the training division of the Retail Motor Industry Federation which has experience in providing qualified and motivated young people with careers in the motor industry.
Within three to four years, successful youngsters achieve technician status, plus nationally recognised qualifications.
New recruits Daniel, 16, from Stockton and John, 16, from Middlesbrough, have been taken on in the service department at the Yarm Road branch.
In addition to on-the-job training, they will also attend Gateshead College on a day release basis.
Ryan, 17 from Ingleby Barwick, Alan, 20, and David, 16, both from Stockton, have embarked on careers within the bodyshop department.
