MORE than £750,000 in Awards for All grants has been announced for the North-East.
The Lottery-funded programme helps small groups and organisations working within their communities. Of £789,568 coming to the region, a number of groups get the maximum £5,000. They include: South Moor Garden Association, Derwentside; The Friends of St Patrick's Primary School, Consett; Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, Shotley Bridge; the Adventure Youth Sea Training Trust, Hartlepool; ERII 50 Community Partnership, Hartlepool; Headland Environmental Partnership Group, Hartlepool; Unity City Academy Saturday Morning Club, Middlesbrough; Teesside and District Society for the Blind, Middlesbrough; Endeavour Training, Middlesbrough; The Children's Holistic Care Centre, covering Middlesbrough, Redcar and Cleveland and Stockton; the Newburn Judo Club, Newcastle; Bells Yard Regeneration Group, Newcastle; Scotswood Play Strategy Group, Newcastle; Exhibition and Brandling Parks Community Trust, Newcastle; Newcastle Out of School Club Providers Network; C&P Coaching, Newcastle; Roseberry Grange Golf Academy, Chester-le-Street; Chester-le-Street Sea Cadet Unit; Whitley Bay Ice Hockey Club Junior Development; Community and Voluntary Organisations in Sedgefield; Ferryhill Station Primary School, County Durham; Wheels Project, South Tyneside; South Tyneside Visually Impaired Council; Downhill Infant and Nursery School, South Tyneside; Community Regeneration Trust North-East, South Tyneside; Thornaby Bowls and Tennis Club, Teesside; Second Herrington Scout Group, Sunderland; Marley Potts Community Association, Sunderland; Hetton Primary School, Wearside; Montalbo Village Hall and Recreational Charity, Teesdale.
