YOUNGSTERS have used their computer skills to create a community website.
During an eight-week course, which started in July, five young people from County Durham helped the Durham Association of Youth and Community Organisations (Dayco) create its own website.
The organisation is a registered charity designed to help youth, community and other charitable groups run their communities more efficiently.
It offers guidance on seeking funds, managing centres and improving performance.
The website, www.dayco.freeserve.co.uk, was launched at a ceremony at Durham's Clayport Library, where its young designers saw it functioning for the first time.
