MUSEUM visitors met a medieval archer and learned how to shoot arrows with style yesterday.
The display at Bede's World, in Jarrow, was part of a series of events staged over the Bank Holiday weekend, with special rates offered for families wanting to visit each day. They included exhibitions of proggy-mat making, basket making and bee keeping, and visitors were able to learn how to use a pole lathe and make a besom 'Harry Potter' broom.
