HOLIDAYMAKERS Daniel Owen and Alan Barker have both landed prizes and a place in the finals of resort competitions.
Nine year-old Daniel, of Albert Street, Shildon, won a freestyle dance contest on a family break to Pontin's Wall Park centre, in Brixham, Devon.
He won a medal, £10 prize voucher and certificate, and has secured a place in the final round of the annual dance competition, to be held at the company's Brean Sands centre, Somerset, in November.
Mr Barker, of Dales Terrace, Stanhope, was the winner of a weekly snooker tournament held at Pontin's Blackpool centre.
The 42 year-old won a medal, certificate and £20 prize voucher for emerging victorious from the Lancashire round.
He has been invited to take three guests to the Prestatyn Sands centre for the Snooker Champion 2002 final in November.
