Dawdon had 30 runs in hand of Ryhope when the sides met in a rearranged fixture and the game was another personal triumph for Stephen Gale, who has had an outstanding season with Dawdon.
He contributed 91 of his side's total of 132 for six compiled from 20 overs with Dan Pearson the top performer in the Ryhope attack, claiming a couple of wickets for 13 runs in two overs.
When they went into bat Ryhope were all out for 102 which included 36 by Jimmy Whilans. Karl Scott had four wickets for 12 runs, Thompson three for six and Gale two for 11 for Dawdon.
