A LONG-RUNNING dispute about a crumbling cemetery wall could finally be resolved in the coming weeks.
Residents in Eston will be given five options to choose from concerning the future of the wall.
The sandstone wall runs along Normanby Road and has been badly eroded.
A public meeting will be held on the issue at the James Finegan Hall, Eston on Tuesday, September 3, starting at 7pm.
The five options are: a partial rebuild with metal infill panels, a total rebuild, demolition of the wall and erection of a steel fence; new stone walls and a total rebuild in three phases.
Forms will be available at the meeting for residents to express their preference.
