STARS from Dean Martin to Marilyn Manson will be brought to life in a special tribute concert tonight.
Performers aged from seven to 72 from across the region will be on stage for the Stars In Your Eyes event, in the civic hall, Stanley, County Durham.
Among those taking part will be six people with learning disabilities.
Organiser Lawraine Hails of Moveable Feast Arts, South Moor, near Stanley, said: "It will be an absolute feast of talent, with people of different abilities and ages."
The event is based on the ITV show Stars In Their Eyes, but will not follow the traditional talent show format.
"We wanted to give everybody an opportunity to achieve something," said Mrs Hails.
"People with learning disabilities don't normally get the chance to perform in these sort of shows. The way this one is set up means they can compete on an equal footing."
Prizes will be awarded in four categories, for the best soundalike, best lookalike, best dancer and best overall performance.
The show starts at 7pm. For tickets or further details, contact Mrs Hails on (01207) 232727.
