ROCK music, harmony singers and Brazilian drums were on the bill when Spennymoor town centre hosted a music festival at the weekend.
Sweet Magenta, a harmony girl band, started the show followed by soft rock act Retaxus, girl band Elite and rock guitarists Ortonomy. Rock and roll from Tennessee Hollow rounded off the music, organised by the town centre forum. Town centre manager Wendy Benson said: "The forum wanted to bring some vitality to Spennymoor to boost trade and make shopping here a nicer experience."
The was also an open day and family music events held by Spennymoor Community Learning Centre.
