UP to 20,000 people came to see some of the country's most impressive custom and classic cars in the region yesterday.
More than 140 classic and custom cars and bikes were paraded on Saltburn seafront during the sixth and biggest American Classic Car Show. At the end of the show organiser Boyd Camfield said: "I'm absolutely shattered, but I'm very happy.
"We couldn't have asked for better weather and the turn-out was fantastic.
"Some of the vehicles we had were superb and we had owners from across the entire country here.
"The winner of the best of show prize was a fellow from West Yorkshire who had a Dodge car, but really all the vehicles were excellent. It was a lovely day."
The show was free and there was music by local bands.
