Darlington's home game this Friday has been postponed due to international call-ups as opponents Wrexham yesterday lost a third player to the Welsh under-21 side.
They already had two players in the squad, and a third - Mark Jones - was called up so the game was automatically postponed.
Clubs must lose three players though international duty before a game is called off and Jones yesterday joined Paul Whitfield and Shaun Pejic in the Welsh squad which also features Darlington's Ryan Valentine.
The under-21s play on Friday in Finland but both clubs have said they are disappointed at being left without a match this weekend, especially as only one of Wrexham's international trio stood a chance of playing at Feethams.
Pejic was likely to play but neither Jones or Whitfield have a first-team appearance to their name.
Darlington don't plan on appealing against the decision and hope to play a friendly instead this weekend while the Wrexham match has been rearranged for Tuesday, September 24.
* Today is the last opportunity for season ticket holders to claim their ticket for the match at Hartlepool on September 14. Tickets go on general sale from tomorrow.
