A Bollywood film company has been inundated with calls from budding actors and dancers wishing to take part a move on course to be shot in Teesside.
The first auditions for extras, including speaking and dancing parts, take place above Sharkey's nightclub in Redcar on Saturday and Sunday from 10am. Meanwhile British film agents Pinnical Promotions say the film is already bringing international attention to Teesside.
Carrie Bainbridge, company director, said: "We've had a great response but we really do want to see as many people as possible. This is putting Teesside and the North-East on the map once again."
The love story, called Ye Jaan Bhi Tumari, Ye dil Bhi Pumhara, which translates as My Life is Yours, My Heart is Yours, will be shot at locations mainly on Teesside but also County Durham and North Yorkshire if expected funding is secured.
Anyone interested in auditioning for the film should contact Nadia on (01642) 211385.
