SHOPPERS can now enjoy a coffee while browsing through the latest best sellers at a Darlington bookshop.
Ottakars in the Cornmill Centre reopened on Friday following major refurbishment, including the installation of a new Costa coffee shop.
The new look follows on from a successful books and coffee combination that has proved successful for Costa, which now has 21 shops within Ottakars outlets, seven in branches of Waterstones and two in WH Smith stores.
Costa managing director Mike Tye said: "It's now more than four years since we opened our first bookstore concession in Ottakars, and we're delighted to start a new chapter in Darlington."
The store has created five jobs, managed by 25-year-old Orlanda Cooper.
