SHOPPERS scooped a range of prizes yesterday after taking part in a summer competition.
The prize passport summer giveaway, which featured on Century Radio's Goffy in the Morning breakfast show, asked people to collect passports from stores in Durham's Prince Bishops shopping centre.
Each passport gave shoppers the chance to take part in a prize draw, with winners drawn each day for a week.
Yesterday, they received their prizes courtesy of the centre's stores.
Amanda Ridley, who won the star prize - a Porsche watch from Bramwells the Jewellers - said: "I don't normally enter competitions but it's thanks to my daughter Rebecca, as she picked up the prize passport and asked if I could fill it in."
Heather Persted, who scooped three prizes, was the second member of her family to win a recent competition - her son, Danny, won first prize in the BHS and Prince Bishops' back-to-school contest.
Prince Bishops manager Peter Bennion said: "I am delighted to present these prizes to our five lucky shoppers.
"I would also like to thank our retailers - we have had some great prizes to give away."
