A BOLLYWOOD film company has been inundated with calls from budding actors and dancers wishing to take part in a movie on course to be shot in the region.
The first auditions for extras, including speaking and dancing parts, take place above Sharkey's nightclub, in Redcar, on Saturday and Sunday, from 10am.
Meanwhile, British film agent Pinnical Promotions says the film is already bringing international attention to Teesside.
Carrie Bainbridge, company director, said: "We've had a great response but we really do want to see as many people as possible. This is putting Teesside and the North-East on the map once again."
The love story, Ye Jaan Bhi Tumari, Ye dil Bhi Pumhara, which translates as My Life is Yours, My Heart is Yours, will be shot at locations mainly on Teesside but also County Durham and North Yorkshire, if expected funding is secured.
Anyone interested in auditioning for the film should contact (01642) 211385.
