Leighton Reservoir offering quality rainbows - S Spiwak of Shipley and Darlington's I Thornberry both grassed specimens of 8.0.0 as 212 visitors landed 464 trout.

Small black flies daddy longlegs and buzzers deadly.

J Conway topped the Durham fly Fishing Association match on this N York's venue with a bag of 11.7.0.

Derwent: 429 rods - 1216 trout. Rainbows to 6.8.0. Dam Wall and sailing club hotspots with cats whisker small gold heads and Dawsons doing well.

Hury: 173 anglers - 393 fish - 10 limit bags. Rainbows to 5.0.0.
