Wilson Junior Cup: Despite scoring 129-6, Sacriston went down by nine wickets at home to Lanchester.
Craig Borke hit a couple of sixes and five boundaries in 45 and Andrew Dixon had five fours contributing 43 to the Sacriston total. Ian Ramshaw bowled well for Lanchester and in five overs conceded just 23 runs taking four wickets while Greg Holliday took 2-44 and Quinn 2-12.
In reply, Lanchester made 130 for the loss of just one wicket. The former Durham City youngster Brain Potts carried his bat for 57 with six fours and Ramshaw completed a good night by scoring 46 not out striking two sixes and three boundaries.
