FIREFIGHTERS were called to help an elderly woman who was stuck in her bath yesterday.
The woman was with a carer who was helping her have a bath in her home on Redcar Lane, Redcar, at about 10am yesterday, when she slipped. Despite several attempts the shaken pensioner and her carer could not move her. Eventually, Redcar firefighters came to the rescue. "It was a little bit disturbing for her when we arrived," said a brigade spokesman, "but she was not hurt and we just gave her a little bit of help as quickly as we could."
