YOUNGSTERS will be making a real song and dance on Redcar High Street tomorrow after receiving a cash hand-out.
About 20 children from the Topline Community Arts Project will perform song and dance routines to top ten hits by Britney Spears, Abba and others, as part of an open day designed to highlight the work of the West Redcar SRB Fund.
The Topline project, which draws youngsters from the Coatham and Lakes areas of Redcar, as well as South Bank and Grangetown, has been awarded a £1,000 grant from the Government's Single Regeneration Budget.
The organisation is one of 33 to receive a share of £190,000 handed out from the SRB fund so far.
Redcar Adult Education Service, which has also received cash from the fund, will offer townspeople the chance to try out glass painting, Indian head massage and circus skills on the day, as tasters to various courses.
The Redcar High Street open day will run between 10am and 11.30am.
