Kirby Sigston continue to lead the table following their 93 runs victory at Hutton Rudby who were all out for 110 which included 35 by opening batsman Reid.
Clarkson was in splendid form with the ball for Kirby Sigston claiming five wickets for just 39 runs and Kendrew returned figures of three for 21.
Batting first, Kirby Sigston ended with a very healthy 201 for four on the board. Their hero was Thompson who carried his bat for 112. Lowther made a useful 38 and there was little the four-man Hutton Rudby attack could do to contain the flow of runs.
East Harlsey are second after defeating Kildale by seven wickets. Peirson opened the Kildale innings scoring 29 before Sunley contributed 55 to a total of 154 all out. Mould returned four for 63 and Whilley had two for 21 for East Harlsey whose match-winner with then bat was opened Hodgson. he was still there at the end undefeated with 72 and Bliss gave valuable support contributing 28 runs.
Stafford Place saw off the challenge from bottom of the table Ingleby Greenhow by 172 runs. the home side utilised the full 40 overs in scoring 202 for seven which included 58 by Brent Smith with a six and five boundaries.
Steve Hollis found the boundary on six occasions making 41 and for Ingleby Greenhow, Vince Jones bowled unchanged for 20 overs and captured five of the seven wickets to go down for 80 runs.
Brent Smith then took the man of the match honours when he claimed eight wickets for just 13 runs in 6.2 overs. He had a hat-trick and at the other end Malcolm Grave returned two for 15 in six overs and Ingleby Greenhow were all out for just 30 runs after 12.2 overs.
Maltby totalled 179 for eight and then reduced Chopgate to 32 as Hutchinson took five for seven runs and Covell three for 24.
When Maltby made first use of the wicket they were indebted to Barber for his contribution of 46 and to Covell (44). Hutchinson added 24 and for Chopgate, Holmes took five of the eight wickets for 35 runs.
Scruton had 61 runs to spare over Swainby. Batting first, Scruston realised 159 for four from their 40 overs with Gary Firth making 67 and Brian Barritt 49. Alan Clemmitt, with four for 60 was the only Swainby bowler to take wickets.
Replying, Swainby were all out for just 98 which included 32 by Clemmitt and an undefeated 50 from John Leather who went in at number four. They were the only batsmen to reach double figures as Brian Barritt took the man of the match honours by capturing six wickets for 43 runs and Howe returned four for 50.
