Thornaby Mandale made it three wins out of three to go top of the League with a 4-1 win away to South Bank United.
After Nigel Wilks had hit a hat-trick for Mandale in their 3-0 win over Redcar Coke Ovens in midweek, Stephen Lambert produced an action replay in the weekend fixture.
Unied opened the scoring through Anthony Reid but despite this set back, Lambert brought Thornaby Mandale back on level terms within a minute and two second half goals wrapped up the points for the visitors.
Stokesley picked up their first win of the season at the fourth time of asking with a resounding 8-0 defeat of the Black Horse who were only playing their first game.
In a day of hat-tricks, Sean Brown and Michael Bulmer produced two more for Stokesley with Stewart Miller and Neil Nelson also getting their names on the scoresheet.
Ennis Square bounced back from a 5-0 defeat in midweek at the hands of the King's Head to beat Coulby Newham 4-3.
Honours were even at half time with Coulby's Mathew Simonds slotting home a rebound to equalise an earlier strike from Craig Greenfield.
Goals from Wayne Gent and Paul Smith game Ennis the upper hand early in the second half but Coulby responded well and deservedly pulled a goal back through Peter Woodier.
Five minutes from time, substitute Kirk Prott restored the home sides two goal advantage but Richard May made it a nerve wracking last few minutes when he scored with three minutes to go.
At the bottom of the table, Thornaby Village are still chasing their first win after going down 2-1 to Redcar Coke Ovens while St. Mary's College OB picked up their first three pointer beating the Woodmans Arms with an injury winner.
Steve Marshall headed Woodman's in front on 25 minutes only for Wally Kaid to equalise shortly before the interval.
With little between the sides, the game remained evenly balanced until the last 15 minutes when the Woodman's defence came under increased pressure with Marshall outstanding at centre back and Jeff Cockerill clearing off the line.
Only seconds remained when the Woodman's rearguard action finally cracked and despite their keeper getting a hand to the ball, Gary Sillick slotted home the vital goal.
In last weekend's other game, North Skelto suffered their first defeat going down 3-1 to the Grenadier.
Craig Bishop beat three men before firing home from the corner of the 18 yard area to open the scoring and by half time Andy Fixter had headed home a second goal following a Grenadier corner.
Five minutes into the second half, North Skelton pulled a goal back but any hopes that they might have had of getting something from the game were dashed when a solo run from Darren Beattie set up Paul Cockburn for goal number three.
T M Disco Crook and District League
Crook White Swan and Wearhead struggled last year but they share top spot after five games of the new season. Darren Deuchars (2), Robert Punshion and Lee Airey scored for White Swan who defeated Roddymoor 4-1. The losers replied through Wilson Brown and had Chris Pounder sent off during their first league defeat.
Graham Walker and Paul Storey put Wearhead two up at home to Evenwood White Swan. Chris Fairless added a third just before half time and Michael Coulthard made it 4-0 with a direct free kick quarter of an hour from time. Wearhead remain unbeaten and Evenwood have yet to win.
Byers Green St Peters are having a much better season and William Dougdale gave them the lead at home to Howden Australian. Craig Robson equalised but a late Ian Brown penalty gave Byers Green a very good 2-1 win.
Malcolm Umpleby notched a hat-trick for Tow Law Cattle Mart who drew 4-4 at Willington WMC. Paul Hurton scored the fourth for the Mart who led 4-2 in the second half. Peter Franks, Shane Sugden and Malcolm McWilliams replied for the Club who have gone three games without a win.

Acklam SW 1 v 0 Bedale Ath
Acklam Steelworks who have bounced back with two consecutive wins after loosing their two opening matches, were entertaining an under strength Bedale side who beat Stokesley on Monday morning. Acklam dominated the match but failed to convert any of the chances they created but they finally did find the net in the 4th minute of injury time when the ball bounced of Stuart Knox's knee to secure the win
BEADS FC 1 v 5 Fishburn Park
Middlesbrough side who slipped to a heavy 9-1 defeat against local rivals Acklam in mid-week slipped to the bottom of the League after falling behind after only five minutes when a dubious penalty for handball was awarded and Michael Young made it 1-0 with his fifth of the season, all from the penalty spot, ten minutes later a bad mistake by the BEADS keeper, who kicked the ball out straight to Lee Found who rolled the ball into the BEADS net to make 2-0. Twenty minutes later a header from Found gave the visitors a 3 - 0 lead, but a minute later the home side thought they had a chance to get back into the game when they were awarded a penalty, but Alan Oliver shot wide from the penalty spot, two minutes later he made amends when he crossed for Dave Mellon to head home to make it 3-1 at half-time. In the second half the Middlesbrough side pressed forward but were unable to take any of the chances they created and in the 82nd minute Fishburn broke and Dean Price scored to put the game beyond the home side, but they still continued to press and in the 86th minute the Whitby side broke again and Gareth Reed made it 5-1 with a goal that helped his side to go top of the League.
Grangetown BC 8 v 2 Stokesley SC
League Champions Grangetown Boys Club who lost their top spot on Wednesday evening after being beat by Thornaby, who took over at the top, bounced back with another emphatic win. Paul Cochrane gave the Boys Club a 20th minute lead and two minutes before half time Ian McGowan doubled the lead for the half time score of 2-0. Nine minutes into the second half visitors Stokesley pulled it back to 2-1 with a 5th goal of the season from Jonathan Smith, the match swung end to end but in the 63rd minute McGowan was on target to make it 3-1, an own goal two minutes later by Stokesley saw their heads drop and they fell further behind in the 66th minute when Cochrane with his second of the match and 5th of the season made it 5-1. McGowan then scored his hat trick goal to take his tally for five matches to ten, to make it 6-1 and two minutes later Stuart Padgett made it 7-1, Steven Kelly then scored a second for Stokesley in the 85th minute, but Mark Ward finished the scoring a minute later to make it 8-2.
Hollybush Utd 2 v 2 Richmond Town
Hollybush United who lost 3-0 to local rivals Carlin How in mid-week fell behind to visitors Richmond Town when Robert Anderson scored after twenty two minutes, this was the only goal of an other wise tight end to end game. Two minutes into the second half Ian Kirkbright was on target for the first time this season to make it 1-1 and two minutes later Liam Ball, also on target for the first time this season gave Hollybush a 2-1 lead. The visitors pushed forward searching for the equaliser but they had to wait until the 82nd minute before Jason Newall with his 3rd of the season made it all square at 2-2 robbing Hollybush of their first win.
Mackinlay Park 3 v 0 Wolviston Res
Redcar side Mackinlay Park got of to a flying start when entertaining Wolviston Reserves, Martin Gibbons on target for the 3rd time this season. The match was very even but in the 35th minute the home side doubled their lead when Lee Wells with his first of the season gave Mackinlay Park a 2-0 lead. In the second half the visitors pressed forward looking for a way back into the match but on the hour Jimmy Allen just about secured a first win of the season.
New Marske SC 0 v 1 Thornaby FC
A dour match at New Marske who were entertaining overnight League leaders Thornaby, who's win over Grangetown on Wednesday sent then top of the League. The Thornaby side pressed from the kick off, but the strong win made football difficult and neither side could control the ball, a number of chances fell to both sides, New Marske' s were more on the break, but in the 35th minute Neil Preston with his 4th of the season secured the points for Thornaby, but they sip to second, on level points with Fishburn Park who have two goal advantage.
Nunthorpe Ath 3 v 1 Whitby Town Res
Nunthorpe Athletic were entertaining previously unbeaten Whitby Town Reserves who were put under pressure from the home side right from the word go, but it remained at 0-0 going into the half time break, but not for the want of trying by the home side who missed numerous chances. Early in the second Nunthorpe took the lead following a cross from their man of the match Glyn Swinnerton for Andy Southern to head home the opener in the 50th minute. Ten minutes later Swinnerton was on target himself to make it 2-0 and he made the game safe ten minutes later with his second of the match and 4th of the season before a long throw from Whitby was cleared out to Graham Brewer who fired past Martin Ball in the Nunthorpe goal, the home side again pressed forward and once again they missed numerous chances with Peter Boldison one of the main culprits.
Thornaby YC 2 v 2 Carlin How
Thornaby Youth club and visitors Carlin How were evenly matches for the opening twenty minutes, but then a ball into the Youth Club box found Jason Draper, who was adjudged to have been fouled and from the resulting penalty. Steve Starsmore gave the visitors the lead. Ten minutes later the match was all square when a Marty Moore thirty-yard free kick found the top corner of the Carlin How net. A minute before half time the visitors took the lead for the second time when Starsmore fired home from eighteen yards. In the second half the Youth Club were on top and pressed for an equalizer, but were wary of the visitors quickness on the break but with two minutes remaining they drew level with a simple tap-in from Darren Humphries.
Division Two
Darlington SRM 0 v 0 SMG Redstripes
This match was switched to Darlington at the request of the Billingham SMG Redstripes, as their own pitch was still unavailable. The home side were pushed back by the Billingham side and but for the heroics of their keeper Andy Price. In the second half SMG had the chance to take the lead from a penalty but Anthony Johnson missed from the spot to see the hopes of the Billingham sides clinching all three points.
Huntsman FC v Darlington RA Res

This match was postponed on Friday evening after Guisborough side the Huntsman handed in their resignation to the League, citing they were unable to attract players to fulfil their fixtures the next day and in their derby match against Guisborough Town Reserves on Monday evening. All their players are suspended pending action by the League Management Committee at their next meeting.
Teesside Arriva 2 V 5 Whinney Banks
Hartlepool side Teesside Arriva were entertaining Second Division early season leaders Whinney Banks, the match started at a fast and furious pace and Arriva took a 2nd minute lead through Steven Lahney who's fine solo run saw him shoot through a crowed of players with his first of the season. The League leaders drew level in the 10th minute through John Blamires after a good save by Arriva keeper Stephen Jewson, but the ball fell to Blamires who equalised, two minutes later the same player was on target for the second time in the match and 5th time in four games when he slid the ball through the keepers legs to make it 2-1. But the home side bounced back to make it 2-2 three minutes later when Paul Proudlock scored. In the second half the visitors overran their host and they took the lead in the 77th minute when David McAvoy with his first of the season scored. Six minutes later Nathan Jameson with his 3rd of the season made it 4-2 and only three minutes later Anthony High also with his first of the season secured the win.
Teesside Ath 3 V 0 Billingham Wndrs
Redcar side Teesside Athletic and visitors Billingham Wanderers were evenly match for the most of the first half, but right on the stroke of half time a short corner to Mark Farrell saw him cut inside just inside the Billingham box and he unleashed a terrific shot high into the top corner of the net, a great goal right on the stroke of half time. In the second half the visitors pushed forward but in the 70th minute a ball down the right was crossed by Steven Dotchin for Matthew McGurk to home head into the top corner to make it 2-0. Ten minutes later the home side secured the points when a fortunate rebound of a Billingham players face from an Alex Hugill shot, fell to Chris Jackson who fired home.
Teesside Link 3 v 1 Dormans FC
Teesside Link secured their second win of the season after taking a 25th minute lead through Steve Hill against previously unbeaten and fancied Middlesbrough side Dormans, the only goal of a tight first half. On the hour Dean Farley's first of the season in his first outing made it 1-1 but ten minutes later Chris Manuel regained the Thornaby sides lead, in the 83rd minute Stuart Burns was sent off, but it was the ten men of Link who increased their lead through Chris Jackson in the 85th minute to secure the win.
