TWO helpline services have been on the move to make it easier for people to get face-to-face advice in Durham City.
Directions and the Childcare Information Service, which used to be based in Framwellgate Moor, have relocated to County Hall.
Directions offers a range of information on social, health, family and disability matters; while the Childcare Information Service provides help and guidance on child minders and day care facilities, such as creches, nurseries and play groups.
Alison Gargett, manager of the services, said: "County Hall is fully accessible and provides the ideal location so that people who prefer face-to-face contact with our information officers can have it."
Those who prefer to ring for advice can contact the Childcare Information Service on 0845 602 4469, and Directions on 0800 393 726.
People can also write to either service at Room 2-84, County Hall, Durham, DH1 5UG.
