TEENAGERS piled into bed at a party where a girl later claimed that she was raped, a court was told yesterday.
Party-goers aged 16 and 17 described how they filled every bed in the house, with two couples sharing a double and one more couple in another bed in the same room.
Others were in another bedroom, and more in the bathroom, they told Judge David Bryant.
Robert Lewis, 30, of Zetland Road, Stockton, denies raping the 16-year-old who was in bed with her sleeping boyfriend on January 1 last year.
The16-year-old said that she woke up in bed with her boyfriend's leg across her and she felt somebody crawling over her.
She opened her eyes and all she could see in the darkness was a pair of lips. Asked if he raped her she said yes. But when Lewis was asked the same questions he said: "She laid on the floor, took off her jeans and her knickers and said 'shag me'."
He had blood on the bottom of his shirt, which he claimed was from a fight earlier in a pub, but nobody noticed it when he arrived at the party on the Pallister Park estate of Middlesbrough.
The case continues.
