RESIDENTS are to take part in a survey to ensure they receive the services they want.
Before preparing its budget for the next 24 months, Peterlee Town Council has decided to ask those living in the new town to express their wishes for the future.
In the innovative poll residents will have the opportunity to outline their views on service provision and to list their priorities for the next two financial years.
Survey forms will be widely available throughout the town in shops, doctor's surgeries, the town Library and East Durham and Houghall Community College as well as the Town and Tourist Information Centre at 20 Upper Chare, in Peterlee.
The poll forms can also be obtained from the council offices in Shotton Hall, Old Shotton.
