A SHOPPER showed her lucky streak by winning two lots of prizes in summer promotions.

Heather Prested, a teacher from Belmont, Durham, had cause to celebrate twice after winning a school uniform for her son Danny, a camera and gift vouchers in two separate competitions run by Durham's Prince Bishops Shopping Centre.

Mrs Prested has been entering competitions for the past two years, and has previously won prizes including two foreign holidays, earning herself the nickname Lucky Heather. Her latest successes were in competitions run in conjunction with BHS and Century FM.

She said: "Since winning a holiday two years ago, I have become addicted to entering competitions.

"I love the thrill of it and no matter how many times I win, I am always as surprised as I was the first time.

"I couldn't believe it when Goffy read out my name on air, but never dreamt that a week later, I'd be collecting another prize from BHS."

Peter Bennion, Prince Bishops manager, said: "We had a very busy summer period at the centre, and there were hundreds of entries for both competitions.

"Heather certainly has a winning streak and we are delighted that one of our regular customers was able to benefit from both competitions."
