AN art club secretary who organises exhibitions across the region is staging a watercolour display of her own work.
Angela Simpson's paintings are being exhibited in the Discovery Centre at Seaton Holme, Easington Village, and will remain on show until September 25.
Married with three children, Mrs Simpson, who lives at East Rainton, has been painting for more than ten years and specialises in nature and wildlife.
As well as her day job assisting in libraries, Mrs Simpson is also kept busy as the secretary of Houghton Art Club, where her responsibilities include the setting up of exhibitions for other artists.
This time, however, Mrs Simpson, is on the receiving end of public attention with her own exhibition. The centre is open from Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm and at weekends from 11am to 4pm. Admission is free.
