Yorkshire's favourite pantomime dame, Berwick Kaler, is looking for youngsters to join him in this year's show at York Theatre Royal.
The production of Babbies In The Wood needs young performers aged between eight and 11 and be under 5ft.
Some acting experience would be useful, but most importantly applicants must enjoy singing and dancing. Rehearsals will take place in November.
Two teams will perform during the 65 performances between December 11 and February 1. Some midweek matinees will take place during term time.
Auditions will be held on Saturday at the Maltings, Cussins and Light Yard, Walmgate. Those with surnames from A to J are asked to attend at 11am, and those with surnames from K to Z at 2pm.
Applicants must have a passport-sized photograph. They need to wear clothes they can run and roll about in, and soft shoes. During the audition they will be asked to sing in a group, but no preparation is required.
Applicants should turn up on the day and there is no need to contact the theatre about the auditions.
Tickets for the pantomime are available from the box office, on (01904) 62356.
