B&H Kings Head 4 v 2 North Skelton
Kings Head maintained their 100 per cent record to keep in touch with Thornaby Mandale at the top of the League.
Ian Wagner headed Kings Head into a first half lead and although North Skelton drew level shortly after the break, John Bell scrambled the ball home to restore the home sides advantage. Paul Round added a third with a well struck shot from the edge of the area and team manager Paul Haste, on as substitute, wrapped up the points with a glancing header.
Thornaby Man 4 Stock'n Elementis 2
Thornaby Mandale stayed top thanks to a first half display that saw them 3-1 up at the interval.
Lee O Toole rounded the keeper to slot home Mandale's opening goal but minutes later, Elementis striker Steve Derbyshire pounced on a defensive mix up to equalise.
Two goals in five minutes shortly before half time however put Mandale in the driving seat.
Steve Lambert stabbed the ball home to make it 2-1 and minutes later Lee Dyson was on hand to finish a fine build up.
Dyson headed home his second goal of the game with 15 minutes remaining and Derbyshire added a last minute consolation for the visitors.
Coulby New 2 N Skel' Bull's Head 2
The only other side to remain unbeaten are the Bull's Head who dropped their first points of the season in a 2-2 draw with Coulby Newham. 20 minutes into the game, Khalid Maroof cut down the left wing before unleashing a powerful shot that gave the Bull's keeper no chance but Bull's came back strongly to take the lead with goals from Simon Nelson and Danny Jordan eitherside of the interval.
Coulby never gave up the chase and earned a point for their efforts when substitute Andrew March tapped the ball home with ten minutes remaining.
The Grenadier 2 Stokesley 4
Despite going a goal behind when Andy Fixter scored for the Grenadier with only five minutes gone, Stokesley hit back with two goals before half time. Man of the match John Skipp headed home from a corner and Michael Bulmer went through one on one with the keeper before slotting home Stokesley's second. The Grenadier equalised from the penalty spot early in the second half but it was Stokesley who kept up the pressure and it needed some excellent saves from Grenadier man of the match Craig Leach to keep them at bay.
Midway through the second half, Stokesley finally broke through with two goals from Sean Brown in the space of five minutes being enough to take the three points and lift them into the top half of the table.
Woodman's Arms 2 Redcar CO 3
Twice in front, the Woodman's were desperately unlucky not to take something from this game.
Steven Sherrington capitalised on a defensive mix up to put the home side in front with only eight minutes gone but midway through the first half, a brilliant run by Gary French set up the equaliser for Anthony Gregory. Woodmans hit back immediately through Lee Wharfe but John Smith had the last word of an end to end first half with a stunning 35 yarder. Graham Watson hit the winner.
Ennis Square 1 Middlesbrough PO 2
There was little between the two sides in the opening exchanges but two goals in five minutes from John Leach (PO) and Craig Greenfield (Ennis) opened it up. Ten minutes from time, however, Leach unleashed the winner.
Thornaby Village 4 South Bank Utd 2
The Village secured their first win of the season at the fourth time of asking despite twice being pegged back by United in the first half.
Paul Raye's opener was cancelled out by United's Terry Strange and Raye saw his second strike matched by a goal from Simon Annal.
Fifteen minutes into the second period Raye struck twice in five minutes and although United did their best to get back into the game, the Village held firm to pick up the three points.
Black Horse 0 St. Mary's College 9
New boys Black Horse suffered their second heavy defeat in as many games as the College ran riot.
The College were 5-0 up at the break and they kept up the pressure in the second period to secure the the points that moved them up to fourth place.
