Tow Law Bass League: Tow Law New Market A visited Esh Stag's Head with both teams fighting to get back among the leaders.
The trebles were shared but then the visitors moved ahead after the singles when Kenneth Atkinson, Darren Yeoman, David Dixon and John Parkin won with replies coming from Bill March and Michael Wightman. The Market completed their good win by taking all three doubles.
Newhouse Club only dropped one point to the visiting Tow Law Dan's Castle, who had Luke Johnson as their only winner, and moved two points clear at the top with Hamilton Row Black Horse slipping into second place. The New Market A are now seven points behind Newhouse Club but have a match against Sunniside Moss Inn in hand.
The leading individual scorers were S. Wilkie 180 and M. Kennedy 140 for Hamilton Row, W. Anderson 150, J. Jordan 140 and L. Sanders 140 for the Earl Derby, R. Johnson and J. Smythe 140 each for the Comedian, J. Close 140 for the Royal Oak and S. Raine 140 for the Station. J. Peacock of the Comedian made the best start with 132.

Willington League: Willington Club moved one point clear at the top of the table after winning by the odd point on their visit to Willington Brewer's Droop.
The home side had singles wins from Jason Martin and Billy Wragg, whilst the Club established a lead with singles points from Joe Blakey, Michael Irwin, Arthur Goldsborough and Colin Walker.
The Brewer's took the first doubles through Jimmy Fleming and Jason Martin but the Club took the remaining points with doubles wins for Arthur Goldsborough with Colin Walker and Joe Blakey with Michael Irwin to add to the win in the team game.
This result only kept the Club one point clear as Willington Black Horse Tavern moved into second place, one point ahead of Hunwick Joiners Arms.

Crook Ladies League: Crook Queen's Head A returned to their normal winning form after last weeks defeat when they visited Billy Row Green and only dropped three points to remain in top spot with a 36-point lead.
Crook Jelly's Bar B joined Tow Law New Market in equal second place, just two points ahead of Crook Travellers Rest.

Crook 4D's Mixed League: The second season of the league has been completed with Crook Golden Fleece taking the title and the darts cup. Crook Coach and Horses A took the runners-up awards and won the dominoes cup.
Weardale Ladies League: Wolsingham Mill Race gained the best possible start to the season with a maximum against Stanhope Grey Bull.

Wear Valley Ladies League: The first week of the new season were marred when Crook Bar 56 had to postpone their home game against the Crook Royal Sun because of the death of one of their players.
In the games played, newcomers, Hunwick Quarry Burn whitewashed their hosts at Crook Coach and Horses. Crook Mill House, who never dropped a point at Croft Social Club, matched the Quarry Burn's maximum performance.
