Durham and District League: Jason Taylor of Leeholme repeated his Singles Championship victory for the R J Hall Trophy of two seasons ago when he beat Jason Moore of Belmont by 21 shots to 17 in the final played at Vane Tempest Bowling Green in Durham.
The Men's Pairs title went to D. McDonald and R. Bibby of Crook Glenholme with a walkover V. Simpson and A. Twist of Sherburn Village, who were unable to play. The Marshall Yates Trophy for the winners of the Mixed Pairs went to Mrs J. Ritter and F. Tulip of Langley Park after they beat Mrs A Coulson and A. E. Coulson of King George V by 24 shots to 13.
The Tom McNamara Cup for the winners of the triples Championship went to A. Dunn, D. Chard and A. Bainbridge of Crook Glenholme after they beat I. Hudson, B. Slinn and R. Hindson of Neville Cross by 14 shots to 12.
The President's Cup for the League Rinks Championship went to C. Atkinson, M. Convery, R. Foster and T. Leathers of Sherburn Village after they beat A. Dunn, D. Chard, R. Bibby and D. McDonald of Crook Glenholme by 21 shots to 17.
The Durham Hospital Cup was won by M. English, A. Lyes and E. Calvert of Ever Ready/Craghead after they beat R. Presho, A. Healer and W. Hughes of Wingate by 20 shots to 8.
The League's Presentation Evening will be held in Kelloe Club on Friday, October 4 at 7pm.
South West Durham League: Spennymoor A have dominated throughout and are champions once again. Shildon Railway finished runners up after overtaking Leeholme in the last week.
Spectrum and Spennymoor Jubilee gained promotion last year but both have been relegated. Shildon Town A and Langley Park are promoted to division one.
