Tow Law Area League: Tow Law Dan's Castle produced their best result since rejoining the league when they visited Newhouse Club and almost completed a whitewash.
The home side's only point came when Olive Jones beat the Castle's stand-in captain, Rachel Heppell. The successful players for the Castle were Keith Armstrong, Wayne Tennant, Ian Johnson, Chris Bowes and John Maffey.
Esh Stag's Head moved to the top of the table following their odd point home win over Tow Law New Market A. Tow Law Station lost their share of the top spot when they went down by the odd point at home to Hamilton Row Black Horse, whilst the Tow Law New Market B slipped three points behind the Station after losing by three points to the visiting Tow Law Rose and Crown.

Tow Law and District League
Lanchester King's Head moved into a three points lead at the top of the table after they only dropped one point to the visiting Tow Law New Market A. The visitors took the first point when landlord Phil Spencer was successful, but from that point the King's took over and recorded wins from Malcolm Clarke, Harry Wales, Bob Clarke and Graeme Thompson.
Tow Law Rose and Crown lost their share of the top spot when they only took one point from their visit to Tow Law New Market B. Anthony Ward took the only point for the visitors, whilst Michael Bell, Tom Hawkswell, John Beveridge and Ray Weir won for the home side. The Rose and Crown now have to share second place with Tow Law North Point, two points ahead of Hamilton Row Black Horse, who have a match in hand.

Willington League
Willington Black Horse Inn moved up to second place in the table after they won by the odd point at Sunnybrow Brown Trout. The Trout had singles wins from Leslie Welsh and Michael Fox, with the visitors going ahead with wins from Tony Claughan, Cathy Mann and Alan Pearson. Cathy Mann and Shaun Parkinson took the first doubles for the visitors to put the result beyond doubt but the Trout fought back to take the final point when Rachel Welsh and Carol Hawkins took the last doubles.
Willington Black Horse Tavern lead the table by one point from the Black Horse Inn, who are one ahead of Hunwick Joiners Arms.

Crook League
Gerald Parkin of Crook Olde Horse Shoe A became the League Singles Champions when he beat Ian Bibby of Crook Mill House 5-2 in the final. In the semi-finals Parkin beat Kevin Carter of Crook Jelly's Bar A, whilst Bibby beat Ivor Phillipson of Crook Belle Vue.
The Doubles Championship went to Alan Tomlinson and Chris Bainbridge of Crook Surtees following their win over David Haygarth and Nicola Thexton of Crook Royal Sun B in the deciding leg at 5-4. In the semi-finals the Surtees pair beat David Blair and Louise Blair of Crook Queen's Head B, whilst the Royal Sun pair beat John Warriner and Dave Hakin of Crook Belle Vue.
