Coventry Bears are the new Rugby League Conference Champions and holders of the Harry Jepson Trophy.
The Bears, beaten in the final last year by Teesside Steelers, went one better this season by beating Hemel Stags 31-18 on Sunday at Cheltenham's Prince of Wales Stadium. The curtain-raising RLC Shield final saw South London Storm defeat Bedford Swifts 54-2.

With the end of the season the RLC Dream Team has been announced, based on man of the match nominations throughout the season. Two North-East Division players made the line-up: Paul Dodsworth of Teesside Steelers at prop forward and Phil Pitt of Newcastle Knights on the wing.
