TELEVISION bosses have chosen the North-East as the scene for filming two popular programmes.
Cult show Bargain Hunt is coming to Thomas Watson's Auctioneers, in Darlington, as well as the new antiques programme Flog It.
Flamboyant presenter David Dickinson will be arriving with the Bargain Hunt crew on Monday and Tuesday, September 30 and October 1, while Flog It will be in the town in November.
But before the visit to the auctioneers, the Flog It team will be in Middlesbrough on Sunday September 22.
Prospective vendors will take items along to Middlesbrough to be valued and any interesting pieces will then be entered into the November sale to see how accurate the valuations are.
A spokesman for Thomas Watson's said: "With a busy autumn ahead the auction rooms will definitely be a popular place to be for bargain hunters and local celebrities alike."
