GOOD VOICE: Redcar Male Voice Choir welcomed Margaret Barron, project coordinator for Zoe's Place respite care home for children being built in Normanby Road, Eston, who presented the choir with a certificate for fundraising. MAKING MUSIC: The Melody Makers sang at the Robert Huggins sheltered housing complex at Acklam, and at the Marton United Reformed Church.
TAKE HEART: The Take Heart Support Group, which offers practical help and encouragement to recovering cardiac patients, has won a grant of £975 from the National Lottery's Awards For All programme. It will help buy exercise equipment for people in Middlesbrough and east Cleveland.
