Tow Law Bass League
In the top of the table clash, Newhouse Club retained their lead and their unbeaten record when they visited Hamilton Row Black Horse and only dropped three points, when Steve Wilkie took their only singles to add to a trebles and a doubles. The Club's singles winners were Dave Thornton, who hit two maximums and 140, Brian Atkin, Bill Jones, Stephen Turner and Tom McQuillam.
Tow Law Rose and Crown had a tough home match against Esh McKennas and just went down in the deciding doubles. The home side took both trebles points and followed with singles wins from David Bruce and Dorothy Mowbray. The visitors levelled with singles points from Craig Tomlinson, John Starr, Brian Hutchinson and Norman Hutchinson. The teams shared the first two doubles and McKennas went to victory when Steve Morton and Barry Hutchinson beat Vena Gwynnette and Chris Hammond.
Newhouse Club lead the table by six points from Tow Law New Market A, who have a match in hand and hold a one point lead over Hamilton Row Black Horse.

Willington League
Willington Club lost their unbeaten record when they entertained Hunwick Joiners Arms and slipped from the top down to third place in the table, whilst their visitors moved one point above them and three points adrift of Willington Black Horse Tavern.
In the singles, Willington Club only managed one point when Scott Little won, whilst the winners for the Black Horse Tavern were Paul Reidy, John Mason, Ian Richards, Kenny Pears and Stuart Gill. The Club took the first doubles through Steve Hutchinson and Arthur Goldsborough but the visitors took the other two doubles through David Alderson with John Mason and Kenny Peers with Ian Richardson. The Club saved face when they took the double points team game.

Crook Ladies League
Crook Queen's Head A, who lead the table by 33 points, came close to losing their second match of the season when they edged through their home match against Tow Law Dan's Castle by the odd point. The teams shared the singles at three each but the Queen's then took all three doubles with the Castle taking the double points team game to keep the deficit down to one point.
Tow Law New Market B are in second place one point ahead of Crook Travellers Rest, with Crook Jelly's Bar B a further two points adrift. The Queen's Head A have played one more match than the teams immediately below them.
The leading individual scorers were Julie Nelson 140 for Jelly's A, Barbara Smith 140 for the Cricket Club, Shirley Hind 134 for Tow Law Black Horse, Liz Moore 127 for the Queen's B, Sue Brunskill 126, 125 and 121 for the Commercial, Adele Divers 121 for the Cattle Mart, Evelyn Alderson 121 for the New Market A, June Oswald 121 for the Dan's Castle, Pat Joyce 121 for Willington Black Horse and Lynn Easton 120 for Belle Vue Club.

Wear Valley Ladies League
After a whitewash defeat in their first match Crook Coach and Horses came to life when they visited Howden Sunnydene Lodge and only dropped two points. League secretary, Irene Clark, who hit two 140's, inspired them. The other leading scorers were Julie Heslop with 118 and Corinne Heslop with a 97 finish both for Crook Golden Fleece.
Crook Mill House are the early league leaders with a one point advantage over the newcomers from Hunwick Quarry Burn, whilst Oakenshaw are a further two points adrift.

Crook 4D's Mixed League
At the League's Presentation Evening, CrookGolden Fleece took the League Champions awards and the darts section awards, whilst Crook Coach and Horses took the dominoes awards.
Joan Mills and Jeff Sneath won the Mixed Pairs Darts Tournament and Irene Clark and Dougie Smailes won the Mixed Dominoes Tournament. Val Hope and Paul Knighton were the runners-up in both competitions.
The 180 medals went to Carol Haygarth of Crook Royal Sun, John Hall of Crook Coach and Horses B, Steve Hayton of Crook Golden Fleece, J. Sproat of Crook White Swan and Kevin Storey of Crook Coach and Horses A.
Paul Knighton of Crook Golden Fleece hit two maximums, whilst his team-mate, Jeff Sneath hit three.
