THE fourth annual conference of the North of England Victims Association (Neva) takes place next week.
Organisers say the conference on Tyneside should attract the largest gathering of murder victims' families ever seen in the UK.
Among those expected are the parents of Sarah Payne, Sara and Michael.
Richard and Gloria Taylor, parents of South London schoolboy Damilola who died in a racist attack, have also been invited.
The theme of the conference, taking place a week tomorrow, at the Little Haven Hotel, South Shields, is criminal injuries compensation explained.
Siblings of murder victims will speak on the criminal justice system and how it has let them down. Other guest speakers at the conference, from 10am to 5pm, will include the police, Crown Prosecution Service, and the probation service.
NEVA's chairman David Hines set up the registered charity ten years ago.
His daughter Marie died after being attacked by a former boyfriend.
