Hartlepool United stay on top of division three after a 1-1 draw at Bury.
Pool are now on 21 points and have a 1 point advantage over Torquay thanks to an 82nd minute header from striker Adam Boyd.
Pool fell behind on 20 minutes when Pawel Abbott side footed past Anthony Williams, but from then on it was the visitors who created the best chances.
Boyd sent a volley against the post and Widdrington sliced wide from 20 yards before the equaliser.
Pool's goal came when Mickey Barron crossed from the right, Ritchie Humphrey's played the ball back into the danger area and Hartlepool bought Boyd headed into an empty net.
