A historic railway poster promoting Durham failed to find a buyer at an auction in London.
The poster - right - was among almost 300 lots included in a specialist sale of British and Irish travel posters held at the South Kensington saleroom of Christie's.
Designed by artist Kenneth Steel, it dates back to 1949 and the early days of British Railways.
The pre-sale guide price for the poster, which measures 40in by 50in, was between £600 and £800, but it was withdrawn from the sale after failing to meet its reserve price.
