A CRICKET team is calling on past members to help celebrate its first quarter of a century.
Lanchester Cricket Club marks 25 years at its Ashley Park Ground in Kitswell Road this month.
The club was formed in 1973 and for the first three seasons, played in Annfield Plain.
It moved to Lanchester in 1977, with the opening of the new ground and club house.
An informal social evening at the clubhouse to mark the occasion takes place on Thursday with more than 200 former members invited.
Anyone connected with the club in the past who wishes to attend should contact the team secretary on (01207) 529375.
