WHEN it is not covered in multi-coloured crowds of racegoers, the Knavesmire, in York, is usually an oasis of green on the edge of the city.
But over the weekend thousands of vehicles squeezed into every space for the annual three-day Northern Motorcaravan Show
Motorhome dealers had the latest luxury vehicles on display, while visitors were treated to a host of attractions.
These included an evening of 60s and 70s music and a musical journey through the West End's top shows.
A spokeswoman for the event said: "It has been really busy. We're very pleased with how things have gone and the weather has been brilliant."
