A MEETING to plan for the future is being held by Stockton Renaissance this week.
Regional government, community strategy and a regional economic strategy for the North-East are some of the topics being discussed by the Stockton Renaissance, the Local Strategic Partnership for the borough of Stockton.
The implications of regional governance and how it would interact with Stockton Renaissance will be debated and the conclusions will be sent to Government Office NorthEast.
The meeting will discuss the National Public Service Agreement (PSA) 2002. The PSA affects education, health, crime and transport as well as employment and e-government. Councillor Bob Gibson, chairman of the Stockton renaissance, said: "Stockton Renaissance draws together service providers and representatives from the private and community sectors, to plan for the future of the borough and that is what we will be doing at this meeting."
The meeting is tomorrow, at 5pm, at Ragworth Neighbourhood Centre, St John's Way.
