PARNERSHIP MEETS: The Crook Community Partnership meets on Thursday, October 3, at 7pm, in St Catherine's Community Centre and nominations for new officers need to be returned to the partnership office at 79 Hope Street, Crook, no later than Tuesday, October 1.
Secretary David Neil said: "We need a new chairman, vice-chairman and secretary, and these posts need to be filled so that the partnership can play a responsible part in working out what projects can be undertaken with the monies available through the Market Town Initiative Programme."
A Market Town Initiative manager is due to be appointed on October 10.

HARVEST PRAISE: The Crook and District Churches Together will hold a harvest praise with the Crook and Weardale Choral Singers on Tuesday, October 8, at 7.30pm, in St Catherine's Church, Crook.
FREE SESSIONS: Bishop Auckland College is running free taster sessions in Christmas crafts and healthy lifestyle at Howden-le-Wear Community Centre.
